ADULT ADHD ASSESSMENTS
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) describes a persistent pattern of difficulty sustaining attention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning.

We connect you with highly-qualified independent psychiatrists offering online assessment and treatment for ADHD.

When you book with a clinician via The Harbour Clinic, your care is provided directly by them as independent practitioners. We handle bookings and administration so you and your clinician can focus on your care.
THE PROCESS

1. OBTAIN AND SEND REFERRAL

Ask your GP for a referral to one of the Available Psychiatrists.

The referral should be addressed to:
Psychiatrist, c/o The Harbour Clinic
The Peninsula on The Bay
Ground Floor, 435 Nepean Hwy
Frankston, VIC 3199

We receive referrals via:
-
Fax: 07 3051 0478

All referrals received electronically are stored securely in line with privacy law. Secure messaging (Medical-Objects, Argus, HealthLink) is not currently required, but will be supported in the future if needed by referrers.

2. MAKE A BOOKING

Once your referral is received we will invite you to book an appointment online.

3. COMPLETE PRE-ASSESSMENT TASKS

Questionnaires are completed by the person being assessed, and if possible by someone who knows them now and someone who knew them as a child.
We will also send an invoice to be processed.

These steps must be completed at least 3 business days before your assessment or the appointment will need to be rescheduled.

4. ATTEND APPOINTMENT AND FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS
Your psychiatrist will meet with you via videoconference for assessment, treatment (if required), and follow-up sessions, as discussed with your psychiatrist.
